My name is Daniel Regan. I have created this blog in an effort to get my message out to the people of America who have forgotten the principles our country was founded upon. Nothing is more essential to the American way of life than the American Dream. The concept that one person can come from any walk of life and rise to any level that he wishes, based upon his ability, decisions, and work ethic. While the concept of the American Dream has always been at the core of all American beliefs, James Truslow Adams was the first to put a name to it.

“The American Dream” is that dream of a land in which life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone, with opportunity for each according to ability or achievement. It is a difficult dream for the European upper classes to interpret adequately, and too many of us ourselves have grown weary and mistrustful of it. It is not a dream of motor cars and high wages merely, but a dream of social order in which each man and each woman shall be able to attain to the fullest stature of which they are innately capable, and be recognized by others for what they are, regardless of the fortuitous circumstances of birth or position.”

Our founding fathers built this country on principles of liberty, freedom, and individualism. That is what I admire and that is what I intend to see return.
